For those who are not familiar with the Aqua Blaster/Aqua Thruster, it is a device which delivers a powerful stream of water created by a motor driven propeller about 8′′ in diameter. It is designed to be mounted to your dock and move water in the desired direction and at the desired depth. The device does not require a permit as long as it moves only water and not bottom sediment or growing plants. It is the DNR’s opinion that this device has the potential of excavating the lake bottom and would not be allowed to move bottom material and consequently would issue no permit to do so.
