The BeachGroomer works on water pressure. It attaches to the powerful
1 horsepower Monarch lawn pump to propel two seven foot arms
engineered with chains that churn and turn to clear the beach of weeds
and debris. An easy to add option offers lake home owners a fabulous
fountain. The blossom head fountain adds beauty to a lake front and can reach a height of 25 feet.

This rugged commercial grade cast iron 1 h.p. Monarch lawn pump delivers up to 72 gallons per minute. Recognized as one of the leaders in the industry, Monarch pumps have earned a reputation of reliability and quality. Included in the pump package is the Big Foot Lake Filter. Lake filters and screens tend to become clogged if not cleaned routinely. This results in loss of pump pressure. The Big Foot Filter’s unique design allows your pump to operate efficiently while requiring little or no cleaning. Made of heavy duty PVC plastic and stainless steel, the Big Foot Filter will give you many years of service. Also included is a durable powder coated steel stand to keep the Big Foot Filter elevated from the lake bottom, 33’ of 2” suction hose with quick connects for pump, a 2” check valve and a pump mounting base with bolts.
The BeachGroomer is unique from other weed control devices because
it is portable and requires no electricity at the water.
The BeachGroomer is the only free standing unit on the market
and weighs less than 20 pounds. It can be easily wheeled around your
entire swimming areaand because it comes with 100' of flexible 1 1/2" hose it offers a wide range of mobility. It costs considerably less than other weed control
devices that require electricity at the dock where they are mounted.
As with any weed control device in Minnesota, owners must obtain a permit
from the M.N. Department of Natural Resources (DNR). The permit costs
$35 and is good for one to three years. For other states, check with
your state Department of Natural Resources for weed control guidelines.
